When running a natch file from a procomm script should I use the .wax extension or the .was.

I have scripts running nightly on the scheduler and last night Procomme crashed.

Currently, I am using the .was extension. Should I be using the .wax extension? Is the .wax file like a runtime version of the script? What's the difference between the .was file and the .wax file?

Thanks for any and all help.

You should usually use the .wax file. This is the compiled version of the script. If you specify the .was file, then Procomm will recompile the script before running the new .wax file. The only time you would need to do this is if you had made changes and forgot to compile it yourself, or if you have a process that generates an updated .was file automatically.
