running reports on command line

I have a dummy report which calls the main report.
When I run the main report using rwcli, it runs just fine.
I have Reports 6i.

However when I run the dummy report which calls the main report in the before report trigger, it fails. Tje error i get is that, the reports server is not available.

Any ideas why this would happen?
