Does anyone know if there is a way to get CE to run a report (on demand) which uses Excel as the data source? I have created a report in CR 8.5 and used both the OLE DB (MS JET 4.0) and ODBC (MS Excel driver) methods of connecting to the Excel spreadsheet. The report runs and looks great in Crystal Reports; however, once it is published to CE the report does not run. The browser just displays a blank grey screen. If anyone knows how to work around this issue (without having to convert the spreadsheet to an Access DB) please let me know.
