Hi all,

I have 3 table commands in a file/report. All 3 tables return data to the same employee, which is a prameter.
The thing is, if I want to produce the report for more than one employee: I want to send a department parmeter
(for each department I have more than one employee),
and produce the report for each employee in the department.
Each report for each employee should start in a new page
(PDF format).

Is this possible?

Thanks for any suggestion.

Sure. Putting 3 reports into a single output is called 'Compound Reporting'. For PDF output, the first report has 'ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF OPEN'; the second has 'ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF', and the final has 'ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF CLOSE'. Adding 'NOBREAK' after each specification will continue the next report on the prior page, suppressing page-breaks.

Passing the department as a parameter should also be no problem, being done the same way as you pass the employee.

Thanks,
But It is not exactly what I need. I will explain again:
I have 3 different reports and I want all of them to be in one page. So far it's ok. However, these reports display
data for all my employees. I would like each page to display 3 reports for one employee, and to be able to
move back and forward between the pages (employees). It's like doing page break on employee with PDF format that display each employee in a different page when u have one report, But this is for 3 reports regarding the employee.

Hope it was understood,

Thanks again,
OZ

That's COORDINATED Compound Reporting, which is a 7.1 Feature. It requies using the PDF Layout Painter, which is documented with that release.
