I've created a report that runs off of a tab delimited text file. When the report is ran from Crystal Reports, the report works fine. When I put it into CE and try to run it, CE prompts for a password (which there isn't one). If I uncheck the "prompt for password..." box, CE returns an error saying incorrect logon parameters! Any ideas? At first the text file was on another server so I moved the file to the same server as CE and pointed the ODBC on that server to the new location...from CR it still works but not from CE.

When you point to the file, make sure that you use UNC naming, not drive based (\\machine\path... vs. S:\path...).

The account under which the CE services are running also need access to the file
