Running Report for Current Day

Hello,

I am new Crystal user so please pardon if this question seems trivial.

I have a batch job that runs a crystal report and exports it to a pdf file. The report has a date parameter that I need to set to current day everytime I run the job. Is there a way I can set the parameter in the report to run automatically for current day? This would help me tremedously.

Which version of Crystal are you using ?

You can set {?Parameter} = CurrentDate in select expert.

If you always want to run the report on the current day, then you don't need a parameter. You would just use a selection formula like:

{table.date} = currentdate

Kutoose, would I have to plug in the formula into the Formula field in the Select Expert drop down?
