I am considering moving our email on-site, and will definitely be going for a free solution. So far, I am leaning towards qmail (Simplicity and security being the main reason). I just have 2 questions that will impact my final decision:

1. Can I block certain attachments or senders with qmail?
(While browsing qmail's docs, I noticed there is a free scanner and virus scanner available)

2. How much bandwidth is usaually adequate for an SMTP server? We have a DSL connection right now, and we have no plans on upgrading. I was considering limiting the SMTP bandwidth to about 128-256Kbps, because we also rely heavily on the Internet, so I don't want a major impact on Web traffic. This would be the only service I would have, our webserver is hosted elsewhere. Our company has downsized to about 25 employees, although we rely on email quite heavily. I would estimate that we would send and receive around 300-600 emails daily-anything from a simple email to emails with attachments up to 2-3MB.

Thanks for any help.
