Hi,
I want to run the pre/post option on a different netware server from the one that arcserve 6.6it is running on, both servers are netware 4.11 and I am running arcserve 6.6IT, I need to activate a ncf file on the other netware server before the backup activates.I have set the pre/post option on the target server in the server list screen when editing the backup job but the ncf file does not run on the target server when the job is activated, the job completes with no errors though.
This works when I set the pre/post to run a ncf on the host server(local to where arcserve is running).
Many thanks.
Hi Shaun. I also need to execute an NCF (to stop my postoffice) on a target server. My solution (the only one I could find) was to use the NWAgent on the target server. You have a pre/post option for the target server when you select to use the Agent in the ARCserve Manager.
