Hi,

I'm having a problem opening/running .php3 files.

I think everything in httpd.conf and php.ini is as it should be, status reports:-

Local Machine Name: bb-3
Apache Version String:
Apache/1.3.14 (Unix) (SuSE/Linux) mod_throttle/3.0 mod_layout/1.0 mod_fastcgi/2.2.2 balanced_by_mod_backhand/1.1.0 mod_perl/1.24 PHP/3.0.17-dev

when I try to open the page I get the code without the processing

Help

regards

fudge

In the http.conf file there is a section where you list the application and the extension that goes with it.

Mine looks like this:

Addtype application/x-httpd-php .php

I think if you want it to open .php3 files you just have to add that to this line.
