Running Personal Oracle 8.0.3 (SQL*PLUS) on Windows98

Hello,

As such I do not have not a big Problem...
As soon as I click for SQL*Plus 8.0 icon, I get the warning message as : "The Oracle might not work properly on Windows98....and so on...."

I will be thnakful to u, if you can help me...

It's true. PO8 is only certified by Oracle to run on win95. I experienced a situation where po8 was installed in a corporate training center classroomful of supposedly identical win98 pc's - all with the same model number and brand name - it worked on about half of them and not on the others. Even if you do get it to work you may later get quirky unpredictable results. To run on win98, download the po98 version and you won't waste any more time.
 
Postscript - the po98 wersion in Personal Oracle 8i.
 
I was using the same for about an year and it didn't gave me any errors. well , if u can get for win98 it is most desirable but if u can't you can try yr luck. From:
