All,

I need to run Windows PERFMON remotely; the problem is that the domains that are being crossed are not trusted (as is the case with many web apps and the DMZ's). I need to gather stats with a high degree of accuracy and concurrency, which means that logging into the servers remotely and individually starting PERFMON is not a good option.

Does anyone know of a solution? I am looking at writing something that uses AD authentication but I just can't believe that no one has had this problem in the past.

In your responses please remember that the domains are un-trusted and do not share a common AD structure.

I would also like to avoid purchasing an enterprize class monitoring solution.

Thanks for any help provided.

you have no choice but to have it run using credentials from the other domain. there are other ways...but you dont want to do it, as you would be very vulnerable at that point
