Running Page Number according to Group

Hi,

I want to show Running Page Number according to group:

My report (customer account statement) is grouped according to Customer Code, my customer code start from AA001 to ZZ999,

Reports layout example:

AA001
address Page 1
1. xxx
2. xxx
....
....

AA001
address Page 2
20. xxx
21. xxx
....
....

AA002
address Page 1
1. xxxx
2. xxxx
......
......

My problem is i unable to get a running page number according to Group (1 group may grow accross few pages). The page number should reset back to 1 when there is new customer code (group). Currently system running page number is according to each page.

Please help.

Just go to group footer
and click format section and reset page on change group

If you are using Crystal Reports 9, right click on the group footer and select Section Expert. Select the box for 'Reset Page Number After'. You should probably select 'New Page After' as well to be sure that each group starts on a new page.
