Running Package from Access97 front end 1

I am attempting to execute a package from an ACC97 pass-through query. I am also need to supply a date. Can anyone give me the exact text as it should appear in the query?
sample_proc'05/28'?

It depends on your regional settings, but you may fix it by using sample_proc(to_date('05/28/01', 'mm/dd/rr'))

Thank you, sem. I needed this but I also need to supply a text string that is assigned to a variable in the package. Can you give me the exact text as it would appear in the window of an SQL pass through query? sample_pak('str')?

As far as I know you may execute a piece of pl/sql code. Don't forget begin / end:
begin sample_pack.sample_var := 'str'; end;
