I am trying to run a stored procedure or package from ACC97 by entering text in an SQL pass-through query. All the literature says that all I have to do, after defining the connection string, is enter the procedure name and the string I want to pass as a variable to the procedure. Unfortunately, the ODBC link fails and I get a message of "invalid SQL statement (900)". Should this work? sample_pkg(str)? Cany anyone give the the exact text to type?

I struggled with this as well but the following syntax seems to work for me in a pass-through query:

call schema.procedure_name (input_var1, input_var2);

HTH.
