When my program starts I load a text box with text from a file. I add text to the text box and then save back to the file. The problem is that the file has grown so big(40KB) I am running out of memory when I load up the text box. Can anyone suggest how I can handle this??

Yes, use the Rich Text control. It can handle files many times that size. The methods are slightly different but the control has much more functionality.

Thanks Alt255,
Rich Textbox works great! But, how do I get this thing to not wrap and still be multiline so that the horizontal scroll bar shows up at run time??? The vertical scroll bar shows up but not the horizontal because the text is wrapping.
Thank You,
