Running on 2/16 colours

Ok i recently reformatted my computer here are the specs
- 60 mb sdram(4 shared)
- 6 gig hard drive
Thats the basics however the problem is now i am only running on 16 colours and i cant seem to upgrade to 256 or 16 bit please help me!!!!

install the driver for your video. what's your video specs anyway? if you dont have the cd to install your video driver, try going to the manufacturer's website and download the appripriate driver from there.

The basic setup is for IBM VGA, 640 by 480 15 color. You could try changing the display to super VGA from the alternate choices of basic setup, but the ultimate solution is as torturedmind describes.
