I need to calculate a Running Net Balance. For example and Order Completes and Stocks Qty 1000 and Ships Qty 500. A Balance Qty of 500 is Remaining. The are 5 Planned Deliverys.
11/14/2011 for 100 (@Net Balance=500 -100= 400 )
11/21/2011 for 100 (@Net Balance=400 -100= 300 )
11/28/2011 for 100 (@Net Balance=300 -100= 200 )
12/05/2011 for 100 (@Net Balance=200 -100= 100 )
12/12/2011 for 100 (@Net Balance=100 -100= 0 )

I need a column called Net Balance showing the Net Balance of the Qty.

But what fields are you working with? Your attachment doesn't work. Can you show a mock sample right in the thread that includes stock quantity and ship quantity at the detail level? Does the initial balance come from a formula? What is the content of the formula? Please label the fields in your sample.

Didnt mean to have an attached. Below is the mock up.
Job xyz
Completed Qty (Stocked QY) = 1000
Shipped Qty = 500
@Balance = 500
@Net Balance is a formula that subtracts the Promised Qty from the Balance Remaining. Initally it is 500, then is decremented for each Promised Qty requirement.

Delivery Schedule
11/14/2011 for Promised Qty 100 (@Net Balance=500 -100= 400 )
11/21/2011 for Promised Qty 100 (@Net Balance=400 -100= 300 )
11/28/2011 for Promised Qty 100 (@Net Balance=300 -100= 200 )
12/05/2011 for Promised Qty 100 (@Net Balance=200 -100= 100 )
12/12/2011 for Promised Qty 100 (@Net Balance=100 -100= 0 )

You've just restated what was already provided. What is the content of {@bal}? I can't tell if it is based on a group amount or not. Please show how your fields display if placed in the detail section. This is not a difficult problem--I just need to understand your data.
