Running MS Access from ASP.net button?

How can you run an access program from ASP.net button (when you click the button to run asp.net).

I tried the code in the FAQ. However it doesn't start the app. I tried starting Excel. The app doesn't open, but shows in the processes tab of task manager.

It depends what you mean by starting the app Jim. The OP asked how to run an access application. That was a fairly broad question as it could mean a number of things e.g. launch the application on the server, open the file to access it's reports/forms/tables, open it on the client's machine etc. The FAQ that I linked to will run the application in terms of it will start a new process running for that application. If the OP doesn't want this then they will have to elaborate on what they do want.

Yes you are right. I stupidly assumed it would open the app. Disregard.. the FAQ does what it is supposed to do...
