running java from Director

Hello,
I have a question about java.
I would like to run my 3D java program from a Director program. The java program can also be run as an applet.
I'm not sure how I could do this - I have tried 'open "filename" with "java"', which shows the command prompt for a split second and then nothing else happens.
Does anyone have any other ideas on how I could get it to work?

Try INM's MokaXtra - you cannot run applet but you can call Java class from Director movie.
