Running guidgen utility - Error 5004

We have lost the ability to download the global address book when synchronizing to a laptop.
Cannot generate Offline address book (Q235898).
The Offline address book is not listed within public folders under "Folders on this information Store" & is NOT under the "Public Folders" to add back to "Folders on this information store"
Background - four exchange servers in one site all running exchange 5.5. 3 out of the 4 sites have the Offline address book in the correct location.
When you attempt to generate an offline Address Book (OAB), the following error message may be displayed:

Error Code on Server:
An error occurred while generating the offline Address Book. To view details, see the application event log in the Windows NT Event Viewer on the offline Address Book Server.
Error Code:
Microsoft Exchange Administrator ID no. c1031662
In addition, the following event appears in the event log:
Event ID: 5004
Description: Generation of the offline Address Book is complete. Result: An error occurred


Has anyone run "guidgen.exe" (Q152960)to ONLY recreate the Offline address book for ONE exchange location in the site??
