Looking for anyone with helpful tips on running full, differential and transaction backups. I am currently running a full database backup nightly, a differential backup at noon daily and transaction backups every 30 minutes throughout the day. The full backup takes approx 5 hours, the differential takes up to 9 hours and the transaction log backup takes just a few minutes. My problem is that the differential takes entirely too long to run and it collides with my transaction backups causing them to fail. Anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid this?<br>Thanks in advance...
