I would like to run an executable from a client's browser.

The performance that I am looking for is similar to looking at a network share and clicking on a setup.exe file. The exe would then install the needed files onto the users machine.

Do I need to be using an FTP server as an alternative?
Is this even possible without using Install Shiels?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Justin

Maybe some clarification is in order. I am trying to have one spot on the corporate internet that will allow a user to install something. Unfortunatly the file is just a setup file that references a series of other files and installs onto a machine. Sorry about the confusion.

Thanks
Justin

If there are several files that have to be downloaded to the client, you'd have to package it like a selfextracting executable, which would then run the setup.exe. //Daniel
