I currently have my personal Outlook mailbox and I am also in charge of monitoring the "Spam" mailbox. The spam mailbox gets between 500 and 1000 emails a day, that need to be deleted on a regular basis to keep the mailbox from getting out of control. I have the spam mailbox attached to my personal Outlook so that I can view both. However, when deleting that many emails from the spam account, it locks up my Outlook for 15 minutes to 1 hour at a time and stops me from working with my personal Outlook. I have tried using OWA to access my personal Outlook so I can delete from the spam account, but the deleting process lags my computer as well and OWA becomes really slow.

Is there any way of having two Outlook mailboxes open at one time, in seperate Outlook windows??

I am not sure about opening two outlook windows but have you considered using two different e-mail programs? You can open them both at the same time. Mozilla Thunderbird is an excellent E-mail program.

Have not tried using Mozilla Thunderbird or any other email program. Will give it a try though and see how it works out. Thanks gearhead03!

Or using Outlook Web Access. That's a serious issue if killing 500 message hoses your client for 15 minutes. There are other issues there.
