We are changing from Novell to WIN2k Servers and using ADS.
The Win2k workstations are converting smoothly.
The Win95/98's are having problems with outlook.
After the dsclient has been run and you logon to the network, for some reason Outlook (using exchange server) can no longer resolve your name, therefor you can not check your mail.
The only thing that we have been able to determine is that the DSClient is conflicting with the way 98 handles the network properties.

any one else ever seen this problem, or have an idea what forum i should look in?

Thank you

I'd post this in the Exchange forum, but if the clients are being authenticated by the AD server and they use the DHCP and DNS from the AD server then the problem sounds to be in the address resolution. Can you set up the same client to log onto a Win2K workstation and have e-mail? (To confirm the AD permissions are setup for those users.)

In the exchange setup you are typing the exchange server ip address and the client's mailbox name, then hit the resolve mailbox (check name) and this does not work? (Says could not resolve mailbox, or cannot connect to exchange server?)
