I have been having a problem getting an old DOS application Turbo Debugger to run correctely inside of win98. I have heard that 98 does something different than 95 in the way it handles the DOS emulation. This program works perflectely if you choose the options to Restart to Dos in the shutdown menu.

thanks for any help [sig]<p>ackka<br><a href=mailto:tmoses@iname.com>tmoses@iname.com</a><br><a href= my site</a><br>"Do No Harm, Leave No Tracks"<br>

the program probally requires RealMode dos, it probally actually require direct link to the hardware, and extended memory, Win95 in my opinion was really a dos shell.

Could be that you have 32-bit mode on. That's gonna cause a problem, since older DOS programs were mostly for a 16-bit system.

That's one of the reasons I can't install or run PcTools Delux on my system. That was my assumption as well, does anyone know how to adjust this setting using the properties in a MD-dos shortcut?????
