Running CIM on a non Compaq server

I was told there was a way to run CIM on a non Compaq server, but I don't know what agents are needed, I think it's only 1 and from what I've heard you can only monitor Up/Down status of the servers (thats all I'm trying to monitor anyway)

I'm trying to get it working on a few W2K Dell servers, any help would be great..thx

DO you wan to run the CIM agent or the CIM console?

Does anyone know if this is possible? In my case, I just want CIM to be able to tell if a NetWare server is up or not.
