I have always ran all CE10 and BOEXI services on Windows 2003 Enterprise servers I support under a Windows AD account which is in the Administrators group. Is it possible to run CE10 and BOEXI services under a Windows AD account which is not part of the Administrators group? The company I work with is trying to lock down all their production servers so that applications are not using any Administrator type accounts if possible. What are the impacts of not running a CE10 or BOEXI system under an Admin account?

Definitely not. CE10 services need certain administrator rights in order to allow the CE10 app to function.

One of the properties the CE services nedd is the "right to act as part of the operating system" which is only granted by being a member of the administrator's group
