I am having problems running a batch script via SMS. The script does work, as I've run it locally and it deletes what it is supposed to. But when run form the Source folder on the SMS server, the package runs, but the batch doesnt delete any files off the C:\file\patch etc, which is what it is designed to do. It does however work on other drive letters(D, E etc) ANy ideas?

When I create packages via bat or cmd files, I typically use DOS explicit commands within it as the command processor can not start via a net path and states "using system command" (or something like that).

example:
c:
cd cd \someExistingDir
del SomeExistingFiles.*
cd d:
cd md \someDir
md \someDir\dir1
cd \someDir\dir1
xcopy \\server\dirpath1\someFiles1.*
md \someDir\dir2
cd \someDir\dir2
xcopy \\server\dirpath2\someFiles2.*
cd
