I developed a web enabled footy tipping application using ASP and an Access d/b.
It works perfectly on my local host, but when I loaded it up to the website allocated to me by my ISP, it is falling over on the first page that acesses the d/b.
I am sure I have setup all the proper directories and paths.
I think the ISP is running Apache as the Webserver.
Are there compatability issues here. Should I have used MySQl as the d/b ? Can ASP work with MySQL.

asp will work on apache if they have the plugins installed to run it, including the data access components necessary to read/write your access db, mysql is a little friendlier on apache, but this is all dependant if they have the functionality in there for asp
