Running Aplication Problem

I have been trying to install JD Edwards on my PC. I installed Windows 2000 Professional and I have service pack 4. It is a Pentium 4 and 256 mb Ram memory. When i try to start the JD Edwards application, a message said "Loading environment" and then "Connecting to Network", but after that noting happens. I would like to know if somebody knwos something about this problem.

Make sure that you have administrator rights on your PC.
Check your jde.ini check the security server is the correct one.

Can you ping the security server ?
