running Apache in root contex behind tomcat to server dynamic

I have apache and tomcat bridged via mod_jk connecter.

I dont want the tomcat appliaction context to show up when acessing through apache.
I tried using mod proxy. it ended up tomcat serving the static images.
Is there a way to to do it.

I have the url like

http://localhost/admin/index.html

i want it to be

http://localhost
