Running an application in server....

Hi all....I have around 15 employees in my dept and when they run an application in their computer, it runs in the server. When an employee clicks an application in his computer and If that application is already running by him in the server, it should not be launched again and If that application is not running by the same employee, It has to be launched in the server.please help with the VB script regarding this.....

Hi Veronicadiaza,

I am not sure I quite understand your scenario. Are you saying that you have a server based application that all of your end users access thru a shortcut on their local computer and the application should not be opened more than one time by the same user at the same time?

Please let me know if this is correct.

Mr.Pellet, you got my point exactly, thats what I meant to say....
Its a server based application that all employees access through a shortcut on their local computer and the application should not be opened more than once by the same user at the same time.

Please help me with the script regarding this.
