Running Agent Desktop Display on Microsoft NLB

Starting ADD the following message receive "Unable initialize thread listen to data from multicast port :234.5.6.2"
No firewall is running and the routing is fine. All other computers in the same subnet works. The NLB consists off two servers with two NICs. First NIC is for the Network and the secound for NLB. The NLB-NIC has two IP-adresses, a dedicated and a NLB-adress.

What can we do to make it work? thx for helping!

Have you found a solution yet? I ran the ADD first on the servers that are directly part of he symposium subnet (CCMA) and made sure that multicast is on. switches were blocking mulicast to the next subnet so we need tpo find a solution for that.

Multicast routing is not our problem, we only have a problem with the terminalservers running Microsoft NLB in unicastmode.

But, you have to enable multicast routing on your switch and then it works. Have a look in your manual of the switch and search for PIM or multicast.
