When we run Agent Desktop Display (ADD) installed locally on a desktop we have no problems logging in to Avaya Aura Contact Center (AACC).
When we run Agent Desktop Display (ADD) installed in Citrix XenApp on a physical Citrix server we have no problems logging in to Avaya Aura Contact Center (AACC).
When we run Agent Desktop Display (ADD) installed in Citrix XenApp on a virtualized (VMware vSphere ESXi 4.1) Citrix server we have random problems logging in to Avaya Aura Contact Center (AACC). Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. When it does not work, it just hangs at the screen "Logging on to our AACC server".
While it is hung up at the logging on portion, if I vMotion the virtualized Citrix server presenting the ADD app to the user, as soon as communications are handed off to the new ESX host, the ADD app suddenly and successfully connects to the AACC server.
We are thinking it is a multicasting problem.
Just wondering if anyone out there is running ADD on a virtualized XenApp server and what your experience with it is?
