Running ACVerify and ACDefrag on Actuate Server

I'm fairly new to Actuate and looking to run some database maintenance. I'd like to run the above commands in a script once every 2 weeks. I have a couple of questions:

1.)Does a log file get created after running either utility?
2.)Is the default location of these utilities in the bin folder?
