I currently have an Access 97 database running on 2 machines, windows 95 and windows 2000. I refreshed the references on the windows 2000 machine (as per Q194374) to resolve some issues with the date() function not working however now the windows 95 machine is getting compile errors with the error message 'Function isn't available in expressions in query expression'. The query involves the date() function.

Does anyone have any ideas??

Only thing off the top of my head is to check the reference libraries to make sure they are correct? htwh Steve Medvid
