Hi,
I am creating an Access database that I want to make as automated as possible for my users. I have them running a "utility" database that simply performs Compact and Repair on the main database, then opens the main database, then closes itself. After a little tweaking I got this to work; the only issue I'm having is that when it opens the main database, the main database comes up minimized...is there any way to run it maximized? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

if you use the shell command:
stAppName = "AccessPath\MSACCESS.EXE FilePath "
Call Shell(stAppName, 3)

3 - Window is maximized with focus.

Hi,
Worked like a charm...Thanks!
