Does anyone have any ideas on maximising the performance of an access app which runs on a terminal server over a isdn link which can sometimes be supporting 5 users.

At the moment it is very slow indeed.

any dos and donts??

Thanks in advance

Dont's? Don't do it.

Ms.A is NOT a client server db. ALL db 'Transactions' take place on the 'Client' side. This causes ALL data necessary for EVERY transaction to be sent across the "Net". High data transder rate + LOw bandwidth connection === Poor Performance.

You need a WELL DESIGNED Server db, to do most (LARGE PERCENTAGE MOST) of the processing on the server. and only send resulte over the net. That "ain't gonna happen" with JUST Ms. A. (although it isn't a bad 'front end).
