I have been working with Access for several years and have never had to do this. I was told it was possible but cannot find a simple solution. I just to be able to run my Access application on a computer that does not have MS Access installed on it. I am hearing about runtime, developer extensions and acde. What is the real solution and is there a walk through to show you how to do it?

Thanks.

With the run time you have to put the name of the database you are opening after the .exe file

Never give up never give in.

There are no short cuts to anything worth doing :)

Thanks all. Actually I discovered that I firsr needed to go to Control Panel and add the Publishing Wizard. Once I did that I could just package my app and the runtime exe together and it then installs on the user machine together.

Thanks for the quick responses.
