I have just installed Office 2007 on same machine as 2003. All works as expected except for Access. Microsoft installer runs when switching from one version of Access to the other. Not only annoying, but time consuming. The only "solution" offered, that I could find, was Microsoft's suggestion to install SP2 (done), which is touted to speed up the installer, but not fix problem. Has anyone come up with a better solution to this problem? Thanks,

I have experienced the same problem which is why I gave up on Office 2007 almost immediately. Although I am using some of the Office Standard apps finally with Access 2003.

I have two options. Neither is particularly appealing...

Dual Boot. Run one version in each bootable version.

Second Option: Virtual Machine. Run one version in a virtual machine.

You should be able to find articles on those options.

Another thought, use remote desktop to use a different version on that computer.

I am hopeful that there is a better option but I thought I'd share the ones I could think of.

Thanks for the suggestions. None of these will work due to the nature of the corporate network that I am on.

Am hoping that as this issue appears to have been floating around since 2007 release, that someone has come up with a fix. Again, thanks for the response.
