Running a Microsoft Query with VBA

How can I run a microsoft query in an excel 2000 application using VBA coding.
Looked in various books found no answer.
Tried to record a macro, actually recorded no instance of the microsoft query actions.

Desperately need some guidance.

Try Data/Get External Data from the menu bar. If you need to do something more comlicated, check the VBA forum.
