I have two dogs, and am fascinated as to what they do when I am out.

I have a MacBookPro and two USB webcams - how difficult might it be for me to set those up and be able to watch my goggies from work?

And any suggestions as to exactly how I go about it?

Thanks.

you could try Quicktime Broadcaster.
It is free from apple, but only allows 1 connection.
A 2nd option that i would also look at it Darwin Streaming Server, also free.
If you are good with a slideshow type webcam instead of true video, look at Gawker
Depending on the webcam and the software with it, you may also like EvoCam, not free, but a good program.

here are many other webcam apps.

Do you want to catch them playing poker?

Biglebowskis Razor - with all things being equal if you still can't find the answer have a shave and go down the pub.

Biglebowski - I want to see who starts the mischief. I suspect its the beagle....

Nice one; does the purple-y accolade (thanks!) indicate the method by which your iDevice is now a canine-minder?
