i tried to install oracle 8i on windows xp, it was working. but when i restarted my computer it didn't work. any solution?

You need to start the service manually yeach time you start up xp.

Its quite easy guys! Just use the Oracle data migration tool, chose ur SID, then click next, type in ur INTERNAL password "ORACLE" and wait for it to say "Cannot upgrade Database, already 8.1.6 or something like that!" Then u know that it is activated.
