Runner for INFORMIX 4GL calling C and vice-versa

Does anyone has ever built a runner (through fglpc and cfgldb) for a 4GL application that calls C functions, which in turn call 4GL functions so the 4GL application can be interactively debugged ?
I've already been succeded for pure 4GL as well as for 4GL calling C, but I get stuck in compilation when some C functions call 4GL functions.
I'm running IBM INFORMIX-4GL Version 7.31.UC3 (Pcode Version 730).
