We have several Monarch label printers (mostly mdl#9835) that are connected to our WinNT network (w/ Win98 clients) via Lexmark external print servers. For the most part, we use the Generic/Text drivers, since our main software application requires it. However, when we try to use the Monarch 9835 driver for a different application, we consistently get the following error: "Rundll32 caused a general protection fault in module M9835.drv at 0001:000029c5". This error comes up immediately after installing the driver, and when the driver is installed, this error occurs when trying to go to the printer properties.
I've checked Monarch/Paxar's, Microsoft's, Seagull's (who has most of Monarch's driver downloads), Tek-tips, and Yahoo's websites, but can't seem to find resolution to this issue anywhere.
Anyone had a similar issue??
Thanks!
