I am getting this error message when i reboot my computer which runs windows 2000 Professional"rundll A dynamic link Library(DLL) initialization Routine Falied Error Loading C:/WINNT/System32/Nvcpl.dll" i cannot find the solution for this can someone please help.

have you tried to run a sfc it may repair the problem. you will need the 2k pro disk handy when you run it.

It seems these errors are caused by a video card supported by Nvidia drivers. Have you resently upgraded your card, or updated your drivers?

Try uninstalling/installing the drivers again and see if that clears the errors. Hewissa

I just had this problem come up after setting up blackice defender to check applications....i had to go into safe mode and remove black ice...possibly it could be the last hardware or software that you loaded that caused the problem.
