Runaround tables 1

Is there a way of turning off runaround when setting a table, please?
I need to place one table on top of another, with no colour selected so that the text below will still show.
I've gone to the runaround option and there isn't a way of selecting none (unless I have a bug). Thank you.

...i've never found a way of quark 6 allowing this, unless the tables are saved as eps (transparent background) from quark and then reimported back in to a picture box with no background fill...

...you will need quark 7 to have no runaround on tables...
