Hi guys, I would be grateful for a little help on this one as I am not sure if it possible:
We have a VBA application that runs in Outlook (2000 & 2003). It works well using info from SQL Server and opening the relevant information by reading the SQL Generated subject line. It is a "WorkLog" application where users generate a new job, are allocated a number and then it is tracked through the Outlook VBA app.
However, when ever we make a change to the app it is a very time intensive and laborious job to update each users PC & profile with the new runtime, so my question is this:
Is it possible to have a small unchanging VBA app that 'points' to another central .otm file on a server that can run 'locally' using This Outlook Session etc.
The original app was written 3 years ago and much of the development knowledge is lost, so it is back on the learning curve for me!.
Thanks
Jonathan
