Hey everyone,

one can include parameters and runtime queries on the report
but I want to find out how to do the same thing using Eportfolio, the web portal.

Thanks in advance,
Charlton

Choose Parameters from the "Customize your options:" droplist. Any report parameters should be there.

If you're asking how to get a report to prompt for parameters in ePortfolio, go into the CMC (Crystal Management Console), select Manage Objects, select the report and select the parameters tab. Make sure to select Update after setting them to prompt the user.

If you mean that you want to code parameters into a CSP page, that's a very different thing.

I've no idea what you mean by including a runtime query in ePortfolio.

Try describing what you're intending to do in technical terms.

Because I don't have a hold of the actual software, I can't really tell exactly what parts I am having trouble with

When one builds a report in Crystal reports and included parameter variables and the "selection expert" feature, upon running and updating values for the report, Crystal REPORTS prompt user for value.

All i want to know is if ePortfolio does the same (prompts user for value)?
