Hello,

I visit this web site and I get a run time error on every page I go to. "A Runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug". Line:88. Every thing seems to work fine on these pages after I click no.

How do I stop this pop up message? I don't want to Debug these pages.

Thanks Spool

Did this just start happening with this web page? If so then try this. Clear all your cookies and temporary internet files. Also delete all entries for the specific web page which may be in your history.

If it has been happening since day 1 then I think that the setting you are looking for is this:

tools ->Internet options. On the Advanced tab under Browsing, check the box next to "Disable script debugging".

Cheers.

cmeagan656,
Thanks, I checked in there I must have missed that one. No more Debug pop up.

I have another one. On this same web site and other ones lately. In a area with text there will be some words that are highlighted in green and underlined. Like computer, network, etc. If the mouse pointer moves over these words a pop up balloon shows up with an advertisement. Computer will have a Dell advertisement, network will have some kind network hardware advertisement. How can I stop these. I have tried everything. I have XP Pro. I even stopped messenger service. Still pop ups.

Thanks, spool

spool,

Glad I could help. :)

I'm sorry, I don't know about your other problem though. I've never encountered it. Can you post a link to a web site that is like that here and I'll see if I can figure something out.

Thanks.

That is a site specific feature, I am afraid.
The web page has a "mouseover" tag associated with each highlighted word.

Thanks everyone,

Here is the link to the web site mentioned above.

I have one computer with Norton Internet Security and one with Zone Alarm Pro. These computers don't show the pop up advertisements. The computers that don't have these two programs show the advertisements.

I would like to stop this with out spending more money on third party programs. If not we will have to live with it.
